From the Desk of Our President: Humans Need to Handle Human Things
Last week, I had the privilege of attending the SIA Executive Forum in Austin, TX alongside our Director of Recruiting & Sales, Cory Anderson. I want to start by saying thank you — to the organizers, the sponsors, the vendors, and every speaker who gave their time and insight to make this event what it was. The quality of conversation in that room was exceptional, and we left better for having been there.
There was no shortage of topics on the agenda, but one theme ran through nearly every presentation, panel, and hallway conversation we had: Artificial Intelligence and what it means for the future of our industry.
It is a buzzing topic right now — and rightfully so.
What We Heard
The staffing world is changing fast. Clients want better quality. They want it faster. They want more transparency, more responsiveness, and more value from their workforce partners. Technology is playing a growing role in helping companies deliver on those expectations — and that is not something we take lightly at Ameri-Force.
AI can do more than most people realize. It can improve speed, sharpen data, and help us work smarter at every level of our business. We are paying attention. We are investing. And we are not standing still.
What We Believe
But here is what also became clear in Austin, and what resonates deeply with the way we operate at Ameri-Force:
Humans need to handle human things.
When a tradesperson is deciding whether to uproot their life and take a traveling assignment — that is a human conversation. When a client is navigating a workforce challenge on a critical project — that takes a human relationship. When one of our team members needs support, guidance, or recognition — no algorithm is going to get that right.
AI is an investment. It is not a replacement. The most forward-thinking companies in our space understand that technology works best when it frees up people to do what only people can do — connect, listen, solve, and serve.
A Word to Our Team
I want to be direct with our people: you are our priority. You always have been.
Ameri-Force is 100% Employee-Owned for a reason. We believe in investing in people — our tradespeople, our clients, and every member of this team. That does not change because the technology landscape is shifting. If anything, it matters more.
The future of this industry belongs to companies who figure out how to use technology to enhance the human experience — not replace it. I believe we are positioned to do exactly that.
Thank you to everyone who made the SIA Executive Forum a worthwhile experience. We came back to Jacksonville energized, informed, and more committed than ever to the people who make Ameri-Force what it is.
