From the Desk of Our President: Reflecting Forward
Two weeks ago, Ameri-Force proudly celebrated 34 years of excellence in staffing and skilled trades. This milestone offered us a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our past—on the thousands of skilled tradespeople we’ve supported, the critical projects we’ve helped deliver, and the long-standing partnerships that have fueled our growth. We are deeply grateful to our employee-owners, our clients, and our workforce who have all contributed to Ameri-Force’s continued success.
Last week, however, our attention turned from the past to the future.
I had the opportunity to participate in a powerful workforce development roundtable hosted by General Dynamics Electric Boat and organized by Austal USA, held in Rhode Island. This gathering brought together workforce partners, educational institutions, and staffing leaders to align on one shared goal: building and sustaining the next generation of shipbuilders in support of the U.S. Navy Maritime Industrial Base (MIB).
The MIB’s objectives are clear. With increased demand and a tightening labor pool, our country must double down on smart, forward-looking strategies to recruit, train, and retain skilled trades talent. It was energizing to join this group of solution-seekers to discuss new approaches, regional and national partnerships, and the kind of training pipelines that can meet the scale of what lies ahead.
At Ameri-Force, we are proud to be part of this mission. For more than three decades, we’ve specialized in recruiting and supporting America’s skilled trades workforce, especially within the maritime and defense sectors. The future of shipbuilding will depend on a renewed commitment to workforce readiness, and we are eager to do our part—connecting motivated tradespeople with critical work, supporting our shipyard partners, and helping sustain the industrial capacity our nation depends on.
The Rhode Island event was more than a meeting—it was a call to action. And Ameri-Force is ready.
Here’s to the next 34 years of excellence—and to the future of America’s shipbuilders.
